MAYOR JEANNETTE BARRETT

Dr. Jeannette Barrett is a medical pharmaceutical consultant and is the 24th Mayor of Speculator. Mayor Barrett is focused on improving the Village of Speculator’s economic viability and sustainability, as well as the infrastructure of cellular and broadband services.

Mayor Barrett has had a home in Speculator since 2004, and made it her permanent home in 2013. She is an EMT with the Speculator Volunteer Ambulance Corp; and is involved in community service through the Speculator Lions Club, TWIG’s, Friends of the Lake Pleasant Library, and is a deaconess in her local church. She places a high value on integrity, hard work, perseverance and serving others.

Mayor Barret holds a BS in Biology from Wheaton College, and earned a PhD in Physiology from UMDNJ, and completed two NIH Fellowships at Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons in NYC. She is the Principal of Highview Medical Consulting, LLC, a medical consulting business.
