Sacandaga River Community Park
The Sacandaga River Community Park is handicapped accessible. This peaceful pathway is a good mixture of wooden boardwalk, hardpacked dirt and crushed stone pathways that meanders through the forest, wetlands and along the Sacandaga River. With informational plaques placed along the pathway depicting different species of plants and animals and some history of our lovely Village, this pathway has become a beautiful, peaceful and educational family favorite for both locals and visitors.

Cross-Country Ski Trail
The Speculator Cross-Country Ski Trail starts behind the Speculator Pavilion and follows the Sacandaga River and is free to all. Snowshoeing also permissible.

Speculator Bike Loop
The Speculator Bike Loop consists of two loops that are accessible from the end of Elm Lake Road and are on wide logging roads with variable terrain, a larger loop that is 13.7 miles and a smaller loop, that takes you by Kunjamuk Cave, is 7.2 miles.
